Happy 8th birthday Emma
Wednesday, May 14th, 2008Happy 8th Birthday to Emma on the 13th! We celebrated with pizza, cake, balloons, presents, and ice cream. Christa was able to join us. She will be having a small friends party when school is out for the year. Where have the years gone? And only 8 more days of school left!
Happy Mother’s Day to all moms. I received breakfast in bed from the girls. They were so excited by their work. It was fun for all of us.
Trey is still staying healthy! It is amazing how he just seems happier too and he is so full of energy. The terrible twos have hit full swing……no, no, no, and he has to do everything himself…getting into the vehicle, into his carseat, buckling every buckle himeself, pants, shoes, socks all by himself and wanting a certain cup and not getting his way and falling to the floor. He is so funny and loves to tease people.
He is doing better with his talking. He can say eat for Treat, done, mom, up, out, more, Emma, and a few other words. He has been signing help and occasionally will say it which helps us communicate better.
Now that the weather has been warmer he loves to be outside. If the rain and wind would just go away for a few days.
Grandpa Buettner is doing better after his open heart surgery on April 28. He started rehab today.
Anna is ready for the school year to be over. She hates mornings. She finished her last soccer game on Sunday and is preparing for t-ball.
Everyone else is hanging in there.
